F-35B Looks Like UFO, Makes Vertical Night Landing [Video]

UFOs do exist and they’re being built by the US Government. The F-35B fighter made a vertical night landing this week and it looks like something ripped straight from a sci-fi movie.

The F-35B fighter has its fair share of critics but you have to admit that the sight aboard the USS WASP was pretty spectacular.

According to Gizmodo, the Lockheed Martin aircraft is going to cost more than $1.5 trillion over its lifetime. The plane isn’t quite ready for deployment yet but this night landing brings it one step closer to reality.

Of course, not everyone is eagerly awaiting the day that the F-35B takes to the sky. One critic writes that the new plane is actually a downgrade. Adam Clarke Estes writes that the Pentagon has spent too much money for too little results with the new aircract.

He writes: “To put it bluntly, the Pentagon’s new trillion-dollar fighter jet doesn’t go a fast as it should, doesn’t turn as sharp as it should and doesn’t handle as nimbly as it should.”

But hey, at least we got this sweet video out of it. That’s worth $1.5 trillion, right?
