‘Nsync Reunion Scheduled For MTV VMAs
Could Justin Timblerake, Lance Bass, J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick be getting back together for a one-time performance? A new ‘Sync rumor suggests that the popular ’90s boy band will in fact reunite.
The singers are rumored to be preparing for a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Justin Timberlake will be accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and the rumor says his bandmates will join him on stage.
The old ‘Nsync crew was spotted on Friday night alongside Jessica Biel during the Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z concert at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida. The guys were hanging out with Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s mom Lynn Harless.
Timberlake has been very guarded about his music over the last decade and only recently released his first album in six years. Timberlake’s focus on guest appearances on albums and his burgeoning acting career likely means the boys of ‘Nsync are not preparing for some massive return to the mainstream boy band spotlight.
The rumor doesn’t include any information about what songs the guys will sing.
One Direction and other bands have recently proven that boy bands still command a massive market but aging boy band members have failed to make massive comebacks. Case in point: the guys of New Kids On The Black.
Justin Timberlake and his ‘Nsync bandmates have not perform together publicly since the bands 2004 Annual Challenge for the Children event.
