Dwayne Johnson Shares Epic ‘Hercules’ Set Pic On Twitter [Photo]

Judging from the recent photo Dwayne Johnson shared on Twitter, Brett Ratner is sparing no expense bringing Hercules: The Thracian Wars to life.

The film, which is based on the graphic novel of the same name, takes a much more straightforward approach to the legend. Instead of incorporating a lot of supernatural elements into the storyline, the upcoming Hercules adventure will be much more grounded in reality.

Dwayne Johnson has teased his fans mercilessly by releasing on intriguing photo after another on Twitter. His latest contribution is certainly no exception. In fact, the actor’s recent tweet shows just how much money MGM and Paramount are pouring into this flick.

“The most amazing set I’ve ever stepped foot on. Honored to play this role,” the star explained.

The Fast and Furious 6 star has every reason to be excited about Hercules: The Thracian War’s set. Instead of simply dropping his actors in front of a giant green screen, Ratner decided to create an epic world for his actors to play in. It’s definitely a nice change of pace to the alternative.

The Rush Hour director may not be known for his life-changing motion pictures, but his Hercules set is definitely impressive. It will be nice to actually see this thing in motion. Hopefully a trailer won’t be too far down the road.

The latest tweet arrives just days after Dwayne Johnson shared some behind-the-scenes tomfoolery from the set of the movie on Instagram. In addition to showing off the star’s Hercules costume, the clip proved that no one’s nipples are safe from the actor’s vice grip. The video is funny and disturbing at the same time.

Here’s the latest tweet from Hercules himself.
