Hannah Davis Not Engaged To Derek Jeter, But Could Be Soon

Hannah Davis might be sporting a big ring from boyfriend Derek Jeter, but sources close to the couple say they’re not planning a trip down the aisle just yet.

The 23-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model was spotted this week with a diamond ring, leading to speculation that she finally got the 39-year-old Jeter to settle down. But sources said the ring is just that.

“Hannah is not engaged,” a source said. “It’s just a ring that she really likes.”

It’s actually a ring she’s worn in the past, and was spotted wearing it at an after-party for a screening of Lovelace in New York last week.

Jeter, a notorious dater who has previous relationships with Mariah Carey and Minka Kelly, seems to have met his match in Hannah Davis. She’s a hot item herself, having been linked to model Chad White and 10AK nightclub co-owner Richard Akiva.

“She walks into a room and you cannot do anything but look at her,” Sports Illustrated senior editor MJ Day said of Davis, who has been called the next Kate Upton. “Her eyes, her lips; she’s got an incredibly fit, athletic build.”

But engagement or not, Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter seem to be moving along quickly in their relationship. After missing the bulk of this season with injuries, Jeter is in the twilight of his baseball career and could be ready to settle down once his playing days are over.

Davis has also been by Jeter’s side as he worked diligently on his rehab this year.

It seems that Jeter won’t have to worry about playoffs getting in the way of his relationship. The Yankees stand 7.5 games out of the first-place Boston Red Sox in the AL East, and 6 games out of the wild card.

That would give Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter plenty of time to enjoy fall in New York City.
