Jake Pavelka: Gia Allemand Was ‘An Angel’


Jake Pavelka says that Gia Allemand was “an angel.” Pavelka and Allemand appeared together on The Bachelor. Allemand competed against numerous other women for Pavelka’s heart in season 14.

The pair did not make a love connection. However, they did develop a lasting friendship. The news of Allemand’s suicide was heartbreaking.

As reported by People, Jake Pavelka was deeply hurt by the news. He explains that he was driving at the time. He parked his car and broke down in tears.

Pavelka says the loss is devastating:

“She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. And a very dear friend. My heart goes out to her family during this very difficult time. We have lost an angel today.”

Gia Allemand attempted suicide in her home on Monday. Her boyfriend Ryan Anderson found her in critical in critical condition.

Anderson called 911, and Allemand was rushed to the hospital. Despite the doctor’s best efforts, she passed away Wednesday afternoon.

In addition to her appearance on The Bachelor, Allemand was an actress and a model. She appeared in two seasons of Bachelor Pad.

Ed Swiderski was stunned by tragedy. He had no idea Allemand was unhappy:

“She could not have been in better spirits when I saw her seven days ago. She could not have been more of a crisp, clean person. She just defined a healthy-looking person.”

Jake Pavelka posted his thoughts about Allemand’s death through Twitter. His last words were “I miss you Gia…”

Pavelka became well-known for his appearance on The Bachelorette in 2009. As reported by US, he was ultimately turned down by Bachelorette Jillian Harris.

In 2010, Pavelka starred in The Bachelor. He chose and eventually proposed to Vienna Girardi. The couple ended their relationship months later.

Jake Pavelka also appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Drop Dead Diva.
