Obama Rodeo Clown Fallout Includes ‘Sensitivity Training’ For All Clowns

The Obama rodeo clown incident is gathering all the forces of political correctness and now all rodeo clowns will be forced to take sensitivity training courses.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Obama rodeo clown was wearing a comical mask representing the President.

Controversy started because the Obama rodeo clown asked the audience if they wanted to see “Obama run down by a bull.” President Obama fans were offended by the many references to President Obama, with one of the clowns calling the Obama rodeo clown their “Obama dummy, or our dummy of Obama.” Some of the audience thought the spectacle was funny, but others compared the Obama rodeo clown’s actions to a racist Klan meeting.

Mark Ficken, president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association, was forced to resign and now all rodeo clowns will be taking sensitivity training. But the Obama rodeo clown who made most of the comments has not been expelled from the association. Meanwhile, all the other rodeo clowns “must provide evidence to the director of the Missouri State Fair that they have proof that all officials and subcontractors of the MRCA have successfully participated in sensitivity training.”

Critics point out that mockery of politicians is a common type of skit for rodeo clowns. Comedy-based TV shows regularly make fun of the President. Back in 1994, a rodeo clown wearing a George H.W. Bush mask also set up a dummy target for the bull, which also was wearing a George Bush mask. The reports don’t say whether there was any punishment of the Presidential rodeo clowns.

Do you think the Obama rodeo clown was fun comedy or racism?
