The HP Mini 1103 netbook was rolled out today by Hewlett Packard and it’s the cheapest 10.1-inch netbook now offered by the company.

Featuring a starting cost of just $300 the system brings with it a display that outputs at 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution with an LED-backlit screen and a keyboard that offers 93 percent of a full-sized keyboard. The netbook also offers a 1.66GHz Atom CPU while a 1.83GHz N475 processor is also available.

HP will also ship the base model with 1GB RAM, while 2GB DDR3 RAM is offered an an upgrade. Another option includes the choice of 160GB, 250GB and 320GB hard drives.

Windows 7 Starter Edition is also preloaded, however SUSE Linux Enterprise and FreeDos version are also available as extra options.

Throw in included Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on all models and a 3G option, along with a six-cell battery for longer use times and you have a decent system for moderate business use.

HP has yet to announce when the HP Mini 1103 will ship. In the meantime here’s another look at the Netbook.
