Insane Clown Posse Fan Dies At Gathering Of Juggalos

An Insane Clown Posse fan died while attending the Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois.

Authorities confirmed that the 24-year-old man was discovered in a sleeping bag at Cave-in-Rock on Friday. Reports suggest that the body was discovered in a tent occupied by four other people. Police suspect that he may have died from a drug overdose.

According to Rolling Stone, the ICP fan asked the owner of the tent for a place to crash. He reportedly complained of feeling ill hours before his body was found.

Insane Clown Posse has yet to comment on the fan’s death as of this writing. Psychopathic Records public relations director Jason Webber refused to release any details about the situation to the press.

“I can’t talk about that on the record,” he explained.

Gathering of the Juggalos, an annual music festival founded by the rap group, has been plagued with overdoses during the first few days. Police said they responded to no less than 10 different drug-related incidents in 24 hours.

As a result, the festival’s so-called “drug bridge” as been closed down. The Village Voice described this area of the event as a “open air free-for-all market for recreational drugs.” Since so many people are overdosing at the festival, organizers have closed off this section of the show.

Security guard Mike Wilson told the publication that quite a few people were turned away for attempting to bring drugs onto festival grounds. The team is now in charge of keeping people away from the “drug bridge.”

“We stopped a few people from bringing things in. One guy had a lot of drugs. He was a drug dealer or something and had no business being here,” he explained.

The Hardin County Coroner recently confirmed the young man’s death. However, no further details have been released. The Coroner and Illinois State Police are currently investigating the matter.
