Google Launches Windows Phone 7 App, That Didn’t Take Long

Google today announced the release of their first Windows Phone 7 application, the announcement comes the same day WP7 phones go on sale throughout the United States.

The application offers the same functionality found on other Mobile OS’s including search suggestions, Google Search which relies on location-based services and other basic Google features.

Google Search App is available for free and can be picked up through the Microsoft Marketplace.

While Bing is obviously heavily integrated into the phones system, a Google home screen integration quickly gives you the option to access Google search services with one quick click of your display.

We haven’t been able to test the Google App, if you picked up a Windows Phone 7 Smartphone today be sure to let us know your first impression of the free offering.
