Mario celebrates 25th birthday with cake of awesomeness …

… and also fondant and sponge or whatever. But mainly awesomeness. Let’s say 98% awesomeness.

This incredible Super Mario Bros. cake was spotted in the Nintendo World Store on Sunday, as part of the ongoing neverending celebrations over the Mario series turning a quarter of a century old.

It was cut (and partly eaten) by none other than Mario creator and Shigeru Miyamoto, alongside Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. How could they?! Well they could and they did. Kotaku has a video to prove it.
