Sophia Grace Brownlee To Be Little Red Riding Hood In Disney Movie [Video]

10-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee is going into the movie business.

A long time favorite on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, she has now scored her first acting role.

This tiny British singer, rapper, interviewer and YouTube star is joining the cast of the big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Into the Woods.

“It’s official, Sophia has landed the part of little red riding hood,” Tweeted her uncle, Lucas Brownlee on Tuesday.

The live-action Disney movie musical is being directed by Chicago’s Rob Marshall and is set for release in December 2014.

Others in the cast include Meryl Streep as the Witch, Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Emily Blunt as the Baker’s Wife, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Christine Baranski as Cinderella’s Stepmother and Chris Pine as Cinderella’s Prince.

So, Sophia Grace Brownlee is taking yet another step in her meteoric career; let’s hope the wolf is not too hungry…
