Juan Pablo Galavis Is Next Bachelor

The Bachelorette finale is over and the final rose has been given. But until Monday night, viewers were wondering who would be the next Bachelor. Well, their questions have finally been answered. The next Bachelor will be Juan Pablo Galavis.

Galavis is a former soccer player who went home during the sixth episode of this season’s Bachelorette. But while Desiree Hartsock didn’t want him forever, it appears Galavis will get to decide next season who his match will be.

The 32-year-old quickly charmed viewers this season, and his exit resulted in the most hate mail directed at Des by viewers, reports Us Magazine.

Chris Harrison announced the new Bachelor during Monday night’s After the Final Rose special. He earlier stated of Juan Pablo that in the show’s history, “no guy has made a greater impact with less screen time than our soccer-playing single dad.”

While viewers of The Bachelorette didn’t get to know Juan Pablo, they certainly will starting in January. Despite not picking him, Bachelorette Hartstock called the soccer player “a dream of a man.” Yahoo! TV notes that she also loved his Spanish accent. And women across Twitter agreed.

While Galavis was born in New York, he grew up in Venezuela. He played soccer for professional teams in Spain and Miami and is the franchise’s first minority lead. He is also the second Bachelor to be a dad. And according to the soccer dad, four-year-old Camilla is his first priority.

She is also the reason he had to stop playing soccer. And while it’s likely Juan Pablo wanted a wife before going on The Bachelorette, he commented that being on the show “opened up my eyes, and I’m definitely ready to fall in love.” The only question is: will Galavis find love on next season’s The Bachelor?

Do you think Juan Pablo Galavis is the right choice for the next Bachelor?
