Miley Cyrus Can’t Stop, Hits No. 1 On iTunes
Miley Cyrus new song We Can’t Stop has taken the top spot on iTunes in both the United States and the UK. It is the singer’s first Number One single in the UK.
The news comes just a few days after Cyrus broke a Vevo record by gaining 100 million views in just 37 days. We Can’t Stop hit the 100 million mark faster than any other song in Vevo history, beating out Eminem’s Love The Way You Lie which hit 100 million views in 39 days.
Entertainment Wise reports that seeing Miley Cyrus at No. 1 in the UK is a bit of a surprise. The singer has never been in the top 10 before (she hit No. 1 three times with See You Again, The Climb, and Party In The USA) and hit No. 13 with Can’t Be Tamed in 2010.
Her latest single, We Can’t Stop, made its debut at midnight last night and has already climbed to the top of the charts.

The singer may be happy with the success of her song We Can’t Stop but she isn’t, well, ready to stop. Miley has a new album coming out and will release her new single, #23, on August 26.
Miley also recently starred in a racy new video for Big Sean.
