Evan Rachel Wood Welcomes Baby Boy
Evan Rachel Wood and her husband Jamie Bell welcomed a baby boy over the weekend.
The actress confirmed the news today on Twitter, writing: “It’s a boy!! Song of the day Beautiful Boy #johnlennon.”
It isn’t too surprising that Wood would tie the birth of her baby to a song. The actress said in January after she announced that she was pregnant that she was constantly playing music for her baby.
Wood said: “My friend Toby got me this belt that you put around the belly so it’s like Surround Sound and I found all these great lullaby renditions of rock ‘n roll songs, like Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, and Radiohead. It’s awesome.”
Bell and Wood have been married since last October. They announced in January that they were expecting their first child.
Bell wrote on Twitter: “Wow! What a day. Evan you are my warrior! You never cease to amaze. Thank you for birthing our son so naturally and peacefully. You did it!”
Wood hasn’t shared any photos of the baby yet, but Wood did post a video. No, it doesn’t show the actress holding her newborn child, but it does show Holly Hunter freaking out about how much she loves her baby.
Wood writes: This pretty much sums up my feelings today. My heart is ready to burst!
