Beyonce in a Batman mask. Need I say more?

During a recent trip to a toy store, Bey donned the Dark Knight’s mask and posed with other superhero-attired friends for a photo she later posted to her website. The 31-year-old sported her best Christian Bale-inspired scowl and crossed her arms for the camera.

One pal to the right channeled her rage as The Incredible Hulk while a gal to the left to the left (I had to) picked web-slinging Spider-Man as her disguise. Two others in the photo wore masks from G.I. Joe: Retaliation… Firefly and Storm Shadow, if I’m not mistaken.

Though Beyonce was Batman at the store, she has actually expressed interest in playing a superhero for the big screen. Her choice is also in the DC family.

“I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman? It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”

A black Wonder Woman would be awesome! Little problem. No one is actually interested in making a Wonder Woman film.

Joss Whedon tried to get one off the ground for years, but has said on several occasions that no one seemed that interested in actually pulling the film together. Beyond that, NBC tried a pilot (with the oh-so amazing Adrianne Palicki) in 2011, but it didn’t get picked up.

Another TV show titled Amazon is in the works over at CW, and Geoff Johns has hinted that Wonder Woman may appear on Arrow at some point.

Stick to Batman, Beyonce.
