Jimmy Fallon Becomes A Dad, Welcomes Baby Girl With Wife Nancy Juvonen

Prince William isn’t the only new dad in town. Jimmy Fallon has welcomed a baby girl with wife Nancy Juvonen.

The 38-year-old late night talk show host welcomed a daughter into the world early Tuesday morning, his rep tells People. He married 46-year-old Juvonen in December, 2007. This is the first child for both.

The rep told the mag that the first-time parents are “overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter.”

Juvonen runs Flower Films with Drew Barrymore, and has been called “the coolest girl in the world” by her husband. Fallon, who hosts Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, will replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show sometime next year.

The couple’s daughter will join Gary, their female golden retriever, who frequently appears on Late Night with Fallon.

It’s already shaping up to be a big week in celebrity baby news. In addition to Fallon and Juvonen’s daughter, actress Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem welcomed their second child in Madrid on Monday. Their new daughter joins son Leo, 2. No other information on the birth or the baby was given.

Of course, almost all celebrity baby news has been overshadowed by the Monday arrival of the Royal Baby, a son born to Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. The Royal Baby is as-yet unnamed, but the world got their first look at the man who will be king when the Royal couple left the hospital yesterday.

Congratulations to Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen on becoming first-time parents!
