Jay Z Trayvon Martin Rally Dedication Features ‘Young Forever’

A Jay Z Trayvon Martin dedication with Justin Timberlake is featuring their song Young Forever.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Jay Z’s Trayvon Martin dedication came at the same time he and Beyonce were spotted at a Trayvon Martin rally in New York.

Beyonce and Jay Z’s Trayvon Martin rally attendance was purposefully kept quiet according to Al Sharpton:

“Jay Z and Beyoncé said they didn’t want to speak and they didn’t come for a photo op. Jay Z told me, ‘I’m a father. Beyonce is a mother.’ We all feel the pain and apprehension — the laws must protect everybody, or it doesn’t protect anybody.”

But previously Jay Z wrote about Trayvon Martin, explaining how he feels:

“We are still struggling with the issue of inequality and the lack of value for a black man’s life. Trayvon Martin’s most basic civil right, the right to live, was violated. We have made so much progress and cannot allow hatred and racism to divide us.”

Jay Z’s Trayvon Martin tribute uses the song Young Forever. During the Legends of the Summer tour with Justin Timberlake, Jay Z shouted, “This is for Trayvon, so light up your cell phones New York!”
