Cher Drops $2.1 Million On Beverly Hills Home

Cher very quietly spent $2.1 million on a new Beverly Hills home.

The gated pad is reportedly tucked away in a canyon, which is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want opportunistic photographers spying on their daily activities. The two-story home sits on about a half-acre of land and sports a private driveway.

The real estate website Trulia recently uncovered Cher’s purchase of the spacious Beverly Hills home. The house, which was once owned by Married With Children star Ed O’Neill, was described as having a “storybook” quality.

Here’s how the house was described in the original listing:

Private, gated and secure, the home has an eat-in kitchen, a giant master suite with serene canyon views and two fireplaces, soaring wood-beamed ceilings and a large sitting area. The property’s 25,000 square feet of land includes a patio off the living room, side courtyard off the kitchen, enormous private deck off the master bath, beautiful backyard with grassy area, cascading waterfall, and meditation space.

Although Cher is the one who spent a whopping $2.1 million on the abode, she may not be the one moving into the new space. Reports suggest that her son Elijah Blue Allman could be the one who calls the swanky new digs home. It certainly pays to have a mom as rich and successful as Cher.

The singer recently put her Venice, California home on the market for a cool $2 million. As it turns out, Elijah was living in the space at the time. This could mean that her son is looking for a new place crash.

Earlier this year Cher sold her West Hollywood condo for around $5.25 million. There’s also unconfirmed reports that the singer unloaded her Malibu mansion onto Jay Z and Beyonce for around $45 million.

Are you a fan of Cher? What do you think about the singer spending $2.1 million on a Beverly Hills home?
