Amazon Taking Kindle App To Blackberry PlayBook

Amazon Kindle Playbook

Amazon made a smart move with their Kindle App when they took it off the Kindle line and made it available in other eco-systems, including a Blackberry mobile app. Now the company is taking their off-device approach one step further, announcing plans for Blackberry PlayBook tablet support.

Unfortunately no details are available at this time, although I would suspect WhisperSync will be offered to keep the continuity of their platform in place.

If nothing else the Blackberry tablets dual core processor should give users a very snappy experience as they browse for and read books.

What do you think, are you excited to have Kindle App abilities on the PlayBook?
