Domino World Record Set In Hypnotic Viral Video [Videos]

A new domino world record was set for the most dominoes ever toppled in a spiral — a really chill cool blue 275,000. And you can see it all happen by hitting that magic button to watch the amazing video called “275,000 Dominoes — Enjoy Your Life.”

According to Sinners Domino Entertainment, the group that posted the video, it took eight days and 12 helpers to set up the dominoes for the the successful bid for the Guinness Book of World Records.

As you can see, the dominoes fall in a sort of rippling, peaceful wave action that mesmerizes the eye. The shades of blue seem to enhance the effect and even create an optical illusion that you’re looking at running ocean surf.

Sinners Domino Entertainment is a German group that can apparently arrange to show up and perform all sorts of domino building and falling stunts for your event. On their website, they boast of other world records, including the largest 3-D domino pyramid, the longest domino wall, and a previous world record for the most dominoes toppled in a spiral.

In other words, it sounds as if they broke their own record. And a closer look reveals that they have done so not once but multiple times.

On January 6, 2012, they said that they broke two domino world records in one day, including a previous domino spiral record. That spiral was a multi-colored rainbow instead of the shades of cool blue seen in the new video, but it toppled only 30,000 dominoes and took only four days to set up.

Here’s that video because it’s pretty cool too:

In fact, that viral video made the group YouTube famous. It already has seven million views.

And the group is obviously dedicated to outdoing themselves with newest domino world record.
