79-Year-Old Masturbating At Louisiana Mall Caught Red-Handed
A 79-year-old masturbating in Slidell, Louisiana’s Northshore Mall has been apprehended by city police. Jack Mozer of Biloxi, Mississippi was fingered for not one, but two incidents, at separate clothing stores in the mall on March 16 and May 15 of this year, KLTV 7 reported on Tuesday.
Police said Mozer has 27 arrests on his record in seven different states for sex-related charges and will now face two counts of obscenity in St. Tammany Parish.
During the March incident, Slidell PD answered a complaint of the 79-year-old masturbating inside of a women’s clothing store. Two women in their twenties, who worked at the unnamed location, were the first to catch Mozer red-handed.
The report stated that he purposefully bumped into the women. Then, smiling at the employees, began to fondle himself through his pants. The women informed their manager, but, by the time Slidell Police arrived on the scene, the man was gone.
During the May incident, it was two teenage girls who caught the 79-year-old masturbating outside of a different women’s clothing store. Mozer allegedly “brushed up against them,” police said, adding through a Slidell PD news release that the man “unzipped his pants and began to masturbate in front of the two girls.”
The teenagers chased the man into the parking lot and witnessed him jump into his vehicle where they spotted his license plate number. Police then used the information to track down Mozer at his home in Biloxi. A review of video surveillance from both stores led police to determine Mozer was the man involved in both incidents.
Mozer was arrested and extradited to Louisiana last week. He was booked at the Slidell City Jail, and will be transported to St. Tammany Parish Jail, where bond will be set, the KLTV website noted.
Mozer’s other arrests include reasons of sexually indecent exposure, attempted child molestation, public sex indecently involving a minor, failure to register as a sex offender, and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. Police were still trying to learn the outcomes of those cases at the time of the report.
They are also checking to see if Mozer is registered as a sex offender in another state and if he could be wanted for more serious crimes throughout the Gulf Coast area.
