‘Blurred Lines’ Syncs Perfectly With ‘Cosby Show’ Opening Sequence

It’s hard to escape Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” single in 2013, and, in the 1980s, it was impossible to escape the grasp of The Cosby Show.

Now a YouTuber has discovered that you can have your 1980s with a splash of 2013. YouTube user GarlicJacksonComedy decided to sync the “Blurred Lines” single over The Cosby Show, and the results are awesome.

Watch as the Huxtable’s dance along to the provocative song and add a bit of humor to the singel.

Mashable took the the entire connection one step obsessively further:

Bill Cosby‘s TV daughter was Keisha Knight Pullium (aka Rudy Huxtable), who starred on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. Tyler Perry just wrapped production on Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, which features actress Lisa Whelchel. Whelchel was the star of The Facts of Life, the theme song of which was composed by Alan Thicke. Alan Thicke is the father of Robin Thicke, singer of “Blurred Lines.” Bam.”

The video was just released today, so it hasn’t had time to go viral but combining two pop culture hits is usually a good way to get some recognition.

If nothing else, this video is inspired fans to come up with their own “Blurred Lines” lyrics such as “I know you want it, this pudding pop.”

We gotta hand it to Bill Cosby; he’s funny even when he’s not involved in the actual creation of something funny.

Check out the Huxtable’s dancing to “Blurred Lines,” and notice the clever addition of the #Cosby hashtag. Leave us some comment love with your thoughts on the coincidental music video.
