‘Candy Crush Saga’ Earns Around $632,000 In Revenue Every Day

Candy Crush Saga is currently making a tidy sum of money every single day.

The game your friends and family members simply cannot stop playing is a certified hit for British developers King. It’s currently one of the most popular games for both Android and Apple devices, sporting approximately 6.7 million active users.

According to Think Gaming, Candy Crush Saga is proving to be a very lucrative venture for the boys and girls who put the title together. Thanks to its increasing popularity, the addictive puzzle game currently generates a whopping $632,867 every single day.

The game itself isn’t too different from some of the other like-minded titles you’ve probably played in the past. Players are tasked with clearing a board filled with multi-colored candy pieces. When you get three of the same color in a row, they vanish. This causes the pieces above them to come tumbling down. Expect to spend a lot of time playing with candy.

If you’ve tried Tetris or Bejeweled at some point during your life, then you’re already extremely familiar with the setup. Candy Crush Saga gently tweaks the formula to separate itself from the herd, but it’s not an entirely unique experience.

However, the familiar structure seems to have struck a chord with players around the world. In fact, the addictive puzzle game currently sports around 187,500 new installs every day. That’s a lot of people glued to their devices when there are probably more important things to accomplish.

MSN reports that Candy Crush Saga is currently available to download for free. However, those who want more lives and moves will have to fork over 99 cents.

King claims you can beat the game without having to pay a dime. That said, frustrated players may need a few dollars handy if they want to survive to make it to the next level.

Are you a fan of the puzzle game Candy Crush Saga? Are you surprised by the amount of money the title generates on a daily basis?
