2010 College Football Preview: TCU Horned Frogs

The TCU Horned Frogs will enter the 2010 CFB season as the #6 ranked team according to the Sporting News. Their 2009 season may have ended on a down note, with a 17-10 loss to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. However no one should over look this team. He has Senior QB Andy Dalton back, a very good offensive line, a great running game, and teh defense is among the nation’s elite. That is a good recipe for another trip to a BCS Bowl Game.

The key date for the Frogs could well be November 6th; they must travel to Utah and take on the Utes who are very tough at home. They also run the ball and control the clock which could limit Dalton’s time on the field. This game looks to be the biggest hurdle for TCU to return to a BCS Bowl. Being in the Mountain West is certainly an advantage as the rest of the schedule appears to be very manageable.

The next big thing for this team is WR Jeremy Kerley. He can help the Frogs beat opponents in several ways. Not only can he beat them at his wide out position, but he is an elite return man that can change a game with his elusiveness. This school has had a first team all conference return specialist in each of its five years in the MWC.
