Katy Perry And John Mayer Back On, Couple’s First Patriotic Picture Posted

Katy Perry took the time out of her busy schedule to express her love for on-again-off-again boyfriend John Mayer as the two spent the Fourth of July together. While Mayer was off rehearsing on stage for the Philly 4th of July Jam Concert, his number one fan Katy Perry was off in the wings taping it all for her Facebook followers.

Perry took to Facebook on the holiday to celebrate her love for Mayer and the patriotic day, which has only brought the couple closer together. After Katy Perry wrote a message to her followers wishing them and America a Happy Fourth, Perry continued her love for Mayer with a simple message that said it all.

Perry posted a picture of the couple posing in head to toe in patriotic gear. In the photo her followers got the backside of the couple posing for a picture. By their pose it was easy to see the on-again-off-again couple were definitely feeling the love on the Fourth of July as they were wrapped in each other’s arms for the photo.

In case her fans had any doubts that this wasn’t anything more than a friendly reunion, the caption on the photo read: “It’s all about LOVE #4thofjuly.” Sounds pretty clear to us!

Following Perry’s picture of her with Mayer, she posted a video of Mayer jamming out on stage in Philly with a caption that read: “My baby totally werk that stage.”

These posts come after a brief speculation that Perry and Mayer have reunited as a couple. The couple were first seen after their split at the Waldorf Astoria earlier in the week. In addition Perry has recorded a song with Mayer, which will be featured on his new album Paradise Valley, which is due out August 13.

Perry who has always been an open person about her past relationships, has had a lot to say about her relationship with Mayer. Back in July Katy professed to Vogue magazine: “I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”
