Justin Timberlake ‘Zooms In’ On Naked Women In NSFW ‘Tunnel Vision’ Video

Justin Timberlake has released a NSFW video for his third single, “Tunnel Vision.”

The video is sure to draw comparisons to Robin Thicke’s video for “Blurred Lines” for its use of half-naked women dressed only in flesh-colored thongs.

Keep in mind that “Blurred Lines” — which features giant syringes, a goat, and a very interesting balloon proclamation — was banned on YouTube just a few days after it was posted. The song and video were criticized for being “rapey.” Thicke said he wanted to imitate how he and T.I. acted in the studio.

“Him and I would go back and forth where I’d sing a line and he’d be like, ‘Hey, hey, hey!’ We started acting like we were two old men on a porch hollering at girls like, ‘Hey, where you going, girl? Come over here!’ That’s why, in the video, we’re doing all these old men dances. It was great,” he said.

“We tried to do everything that was taboo. Bestiality, drug injections, and everything that is completely derogatory towards women,” Thicke added.

The video for “Tunnel Vision” is just as bare as the leading ladies, featuring Timberland, Timberlake, and the three women dancing in smoke-filled rooms or projected backgrounds. At some points of the video, Timberlake’s face is projected onto the women’s bodies.

“Tunnel Vision” follows “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors,” which were both Top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. “Mirrors” is currently at No. 7 on the chart. The 20/20 Experience is the year’s biggest-selling album so far, and has been certified 2x platinum with over 2 million copies sold. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 968,000 copies sold in its first week.

The second half of the album will be released on September 30, and will feature 10 new songs (hence 20/20.) In the meantime, Justin Timberlake will be hitting the road with Jay-Z for their “Legends of the Summer” tour, which runs from July 17 to August 16.
