Can that lock you use for your valuable survive a gunshot?

We’ve all seen it in the movies – locks being blown apart left, right, and center by some sharp shooting gun-toting hero; but really, just how would the lock you buy to protect your treasured valuable survive being shot.

Well Popular Mechanics decided to find out and much to our utter enjoyment they made a video out of the experience. It’s short but damn it’s fun.

Oh and as a spoiler – only the Master Lock survived.
