Cressida Bonas: Party Girl Seems Perfect Fit For Prince Harry

Cressida Bonas seems to have everything Prince Harry needs — the proper background, good looks, and the ability to party into the early morning hours without getting him caught by the tabloids.

Prince Harry and Bonas were seen at the Glastonbury music festival this weekend, partying until the early morning hours. They even got some encouragement from the festival’s organizer, Michael Eavis.

“I recommended he should go on into the night, because the nightlife is what Glastonbury is all about,” Eavis said about his interaction with Prince Harry. “I told him to get his taxi driver to come back at five o’clock in the morning, and do you know what? He lasted until four in the morning.”

By all accounts, Cressida Bonas can hang right alongside the notoriously hard-partying Prince Harry, but she’s also shown him to be someone he can trust.

“They met through [Princess] Eugenie, who is friends with Cressida,” a source told E! News when the two first started dating. “Cressida is really smart, very naturally pretty and just a really cool girl to hang out with. It’s hard for Harry to date as there are so many opportunities out there, but Cressida is someone he knows he can trust as she is already in his circle. She’s already passed the test of being discreet.”

For Harry, still stinging after a wild night in Vegas last summer went embarrassingly public, trust is a very big issue. Though with Bonas he seems to have a perfect partner. At the Glastonbury festival they moved seamlessly through the crowd, even going to Bar Boulevard together without drawing attention.

“We’ve had a few celebs in before but never royalty. We’ll have to get a royal crest for next year. He just blended in with everyone and looked like a normal punter,” said Natalie Newby, the bar’s manager. ‘”The person who served him didn’t realize who it was until after he’d left. We treated him as we would any other customer. Some of the staff who did recognize him joked we should ID him, but we didn’t in the end.”

But while she’s no stranger to clubs and parties, Cressida Bonas also has the proper bloodlines to be dating a royal. Her mother is Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon, who E! News described as “something of an It Girl back in the swinging ’60s.” Her mother is also heir to the ultra-wealthy Curzon banking family while her father Jeffrey Bonas is a successful entrepreneur and businessman.

To top it all off, Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas have been able to stay together through a very trying year that included Harry’s Vegas antics and his four-month tour in Afghanistan.
