[VIDEO] Rage for iPhone revealed, flabbers everywhere are gasted

If you have an iPhone you use for games, you have to see this. Doom and Quake creator and general programming genius John Carmack just showed off Rage for the iPhone, and wow.

Rage is due on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and the Mac in 2011, but the iPhone version will come out this year, after Carmack and his team squashed the graphical behemoth onto Apple’s phone. Incredibly, MegaTextures and a 60 frames-per-second framerate remain intact on the iPhone edition. The video below is seriously impressive, and Carmy claims it will also run on an original 2G iPhone.
