Landon Donovan on cover of North American FIFA 11

Even though most of the US stopped caring about soccer the moment this happened, there’s no doubt that Landon Donovan’s last-minute winning goal against the, er, mighty Algeria will have stayed in the minds of many Americans who watched. I mean, just look at this.

Anyway, because he scored a tap-in against a third-rate footballing nation in a group game, EA have parked Donovan’s mug on the FIFA 11 box next to that of Kaka, whose presence Dennis has already protested against. The other chap is Carlos Vela, of Arsenal and the Mexico national team.
