NeNe Leakes Remarries Ex-Husband Gregg

NeNe Leakes has remarried, but her choice of groom is notable and the name change part should be a breeze.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes indeed tied the knot again, in a ceremony that was a total deja vu experience.

Leakes, who rose to fame on the reality program, married ex-husband Gregg Leakes over the weekend in Atlanta at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel.

While breakups and make-ups are often skeptically viewed by society, the former and now on-again pair have been together longer than they were apart.

Married for 13 years, NeNe Leakes and hubby Gregg split back in 2011. The couple have one son, named Brentt, and apparently weren’t as happy divorced as they were when they were blissfully wed.

The reunited Leakes had a lot of support at their second altar go-round, and one bridesmaid was RHOA co-star Cynthia Bailey. Kim Zolciak, Jill Zarin, Slade Smiley, Marysol Patton, Grethen Rossi, and Patti Stanger also showed up to celebrate the couple’s second marriage.

The NeNe Leakes wedding was a surprise, but one with a show attached — I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.
The couple were engaged on New Year’s Eve this year, and Leakes hinted at the ‘do on social media before the big day.

The star tweeted:

Got big plans this weekend? Cause I do ?

One source at Leakes’ nuptials dished:

“When they did the part about ‘in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer,’ NeNe said, ‘For richer and for richer!’ Everyone started laughing … She never said poorer!”

Now a teen, Brentt commented on his parents’ second marriage to each other as the couple celebrated, saying happily:

I’m so happy to see my parents remarried, as a family we’ve never been happier.

And while viewers may be sick of news about NeNe Leakes and her RHOA stars, that comment alone sort of makes the whole story really sweet — maybe reality TV does do some good after all?
