2012 movie

The first teaser trailer for spoof disaster film 2012 has been released.

If you’re not aware of the significance of the date, 2012 is the end of the Mayan calander, and is predicted by lots of kooks to be the end of the world, and you can throw in some suggestions that in 2012 “Planet X” will slam into the earth as well. As you can imagine, taking the piss on the year is right up my alley.

2012 the Movie is due out July 2009. If you’re reading this in the feed, you’ll need to visit the site to review the trailer.

Cool, thanks for posting. By the way, I really like that your site doesn't have one specific focus. Sometimes it's tech news, sometimes it's trailers, and other times it's celebrity gossip. Ok well I could do without the celebrity gossip but you know what I mean :) Keep up the good work!

Just a quick comment - actually the Mayans were considered to be the world's best ever time keepers - constantly viewing the stars and planets and their motions - they configured that, in our known calendar today, on December 21st 2012 'time' as we know it would end... this does NOT mean the end of the world - however, it is known that due to the major planetary alignments and the lining up of many major suns in various sol systems, this would 'open' our planet for a number of major natural diasters - one must have become aware of the increasing natural diasters that have occurred on this planet already.
Whilst I agree there are indeed many 'kooks' out there - this does not dispell a major theory held by a number of credible scientists, that a cycle of 'extra solar system' activity is due once again around 2012
I suggest to those of you out there to check around

The Mayans and Aztecs use a lot of astrology methodologies when envisioning the future.
If you are mindful of astrology, it becomes less a mysticlal prophecy of things to come than a typical sense determination of of future events base on the true nature of the universe. You can exploit lots of this information for yourself at Astrology Predictions
