Anna Paquin’s Fate On ‘True Blood’ Revealed By Co-Star

Curious to know what lies in store for Anna Paquin this season on True Blood? The actress’ co-star revealed a potential spoiler during a recent interview.

Although the beans spilled by Lauren Bowles hardly classify as a huge spoiler, the info could derail your enjoyment a tad if you don’t want to know anything about the events contained in the sixth season. In any case, proceed with caution if you’re sensitive about such revelations.

During a recent chat, Bowles said a major character will bite the dust on True Blood. However, those who are worried that Anna Paquin may be leaving the show can rest easy. According to Bowles, Sookie Stackhouse isn’t going to die during the current season of HBO’s hit vampire series.

“It completely surprised me. There’s not much to say other than it’s completely heartbreaking. But I really will say it’s one of those that I cried when I read it,” the actress explained to the folks at Entertainment Weekly.

She added, “Everyone at the table read was crying because in addition to who it is — and by the way, I’m saying that meaning it might be Holly — it truly could be anyone. I think it’s safe to say it’s not Sookie but other than that, it really could be anyone and it is so beautifully done. So it really is heartbreaking.”

In addition to discussing the fate of Anna Paquin’s character, Bowles also said fans can expect a bit more blood and guts from the latest season of True Blood. Squeamish fans may want to have something to cover their face with stashed nearby while watching the latest episodes.

“They keep upping the stakes so it seems like it keeps getting bloodier. I will say more so than any other season, this one really is a true free for all. It is quite literally a blood bath and everyone is literally running for their lives,” she explained.
