Finally Giving Into Your Kindle Purchase Urges? Now It’s Only $189

With Barnes & Noble announcing a price drop for their Nook e-book it was only a matter of time before other companies followed, now we’ve learned that the Amazon Kindle has received a price drop to $189, a far cry from the devices original $259 price point.

The Barnes & Noble Nook is currently available for just $199 for the 3G/WiFi model, giving Amazon a slight price advantage for their 3G/WiFi capable model and 3G is still free.

It’s a smart move for Amazon as they are experiencing increased competition in their ever shrinking market, with the iPad clearly the fan favorite at the moment.

The newly priced units are available directly through Amazon.com so get your e-book on, or buy something better, I’m voting for something better.
