Galaxy Tab Shipping This Summer [Samsung Confirmed]

Early specs for the device have pointed at a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 CPU with Android 2.2, putting the tablet in line nicely to compete with the likes of the Apple iPad. The tablet is also expected to offer it’s own e-book reader with included magazine content, while features a 7? Super AMOLED touchscreen with an outdoor/sunlight optimized screen.

Throw in 16GB built-in memory and microSDHC card support that can add an additional 32GB and we’re ready to take advantage of everything the device offers, including the 4,000mAh battery which should give plenty of daytime and nighttime use on a single charge.
