Jessica Alba Talks Beach Essentials For Summer

Jessica Alba recently posted a classy photo on Instagram that featured a retro swimsuit. The photo is currently making waves on the web as everyone wants a look at the popular actress.

She recently spoke about summer essentials for the beach with People Magazine, and here’s her five tips that you don’t want to miss. First off, flats are the way to go if you ask Alba.

“I’m always on the go during the summer, so I love shoes like Jenni Kayne’s D’Orsay flats,” she said. “They’re light and easy to [take off]—that way I can jump right into playing with my girls.”

She went on to give Knockaround sunglasses a shout out, saying “they come in a ton of great colors and, if they get lost at the beach, they are not too expensive to replace.”

Her next suggestion has quite the price tag, but she believes this cover-up is a great summer purchase.

“This a great summer cover-up because it allows you to easily transition from the pool, to an afternoon lunch, to alfresco dinner,” Jessica Alba explained in her interview with People. “Super-chic and easy to wear.”

The 32-year-old mom of two continued on by sharing her way of protecting her hair.

“Summer sun, salt water and pools can wreak havoc on your hair,” Alba added. “I spritz on our Honest Conditioning Mist before hitting the water to protect my hair and keep it tangle free. It’s also perfect for enhancing those beachy waves.”

Lastly, Alba recognized a Koh Gen Do combo to finish off her list of summer essentials. “To keep summer skin fresh and glowing, I turn to this exfoliating and moisturizing pair because they are effective but gentle,” she said about her final “beach kit” essential.
