Lindsay Lohan has left Betty Ford and transferred to another rehab facility.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything about Lindsay Lohan, which could mean that she’s actually committed to rehab this time. Only time will tell, but she isn’t leaving Betty Ford to go partying this time. She’s transferring to Cliffside Malibu today.
In the absence of news regarding Lindsay Lohan, others have taken their turn at the spotlight, including Amanda Bynes, an apparent Twitter junkie who can’t seem to stop slamming everybody and ends up in the news every time.
We are hoping that the Mean Girls star will stick to her rehab until she can get her life straightened out, and this may be a test for her.
Formerly known for her party-girl lifestyle, Lindsay Lohan spent years in and out of rehab, getting in the kinds of trouble that landed her in court time and again. Even her parents tried to get in on the publicity as she became the biggest spotlight magnet we’d seen in years.
Everybody involved agrees with the move, as Betty Ford is better suited for a 30-day program, and Lindsay Lohan is slated for 90 days. Sources close to the situation tell us the District Attorney approved the change earlier this week. It isn’t known yet if Adderall will be allowed at the Cliffside Malibu treatment center, but it’s doubtful.
Lindsay Lohan pleaded no contest in March to misdemeanor charges involving a motor vehicle accident in June 2012. She had racked up offenses such as reckless driving and providing false information to a police officer. The Scary Movie 5 actress has been sentenced to 90 days in a lock down rehab facility, 30 days of community service, and 18 months of psychotherapy.
It remains to be seen whether or not Lindsay Lohan will stick to her rehab and stay out of trouble, and possibly turn her life around, but as stated, only time will tell.
