Beyonce Sends Serena Williams An Uplifting Little Note [Image]

Let’s take a break from the “is Beyonce pregnant” news cycle, and focus on something a little different, shall we? Here’s something: It’s an encouraging note that Beyonce sent Serena Williams to shut down the tennis great’s haters.

At age 31, the so-called experts continue to say that Williams is “over the hill” or “too old” to continue playing tennis, even though she won the French Open on Saturday.

Beyonce kindly disagrees with the tennis star’s critics, and sent Williams an inspirational note saying just that:

“Stunt on them Serena. 31 and in your prime. You have no idea how much you inspire all of us women. I’m so proud of you. All my love and respect, Beyonce.”

Williams quieted her critics with one of her finest performances to date at the French Open, and is now the reigning French Open, Wimbledon, U.S. Open and Olympic ladies single Champion. Yeah, she’s definitely wearing with age.

Beyonce’s encouraging note to Serena Williams comes just after her French Open victory, and takes on a special significance as both Williams and Beyonce are 31-years-old. Beyonce herself has had a rough start to her year, batting off critics who have slammed her Presidential Inauguration and Superbowl performances.

Beyonce posted the note to the “news” section of her website, and we don’t really know whether she personally delivered the letter to Serena Williams at all. Either way, Beyonce proves yet again what a classy lady she can be.

Oh, and by the way, Beyonce is not pregnant.
