Grant Hill Supports Tamia At Highline Ballroom Concert In NYC

Grant Hill supports Tamia, his wife of almost 15 years, no matter how far away he is due to the grueling schedule of an NBA player. Those days are now behind the couple, as Hill retired from the NBA last week and he now has plenty of time to spend with his R&B wife.

The 40-year-old was in attendance Saturday night as Tamia performed on stage at the Highline Ballroom in New York City. With hundreds in the crowd, she put together a great set and even mentioned her popular husband before singing her song “Still.”

“We’re celebrating almost 15 years of marriage,” she told the crowd before getting back to her performance. The 38-year-old has been making waves in the music industry since her self-titled album in 1998.

Tamia’s most recent success came from her fifth album, “Beautiful Surprise,” which was nominated for two Grammy Awards this year and was also featured during her show on Saturday. Grant Hill supports Tamia and her music as much as anyone, while his fellow basketball stars are beginning to join in.

Amar’e Stoudemire attended the show at the Highline Ballroom with Hill on Saturday night as they watched from a VIP section. Stoudemire was teammates with Hill during his stint with the Phoenix Suns before moving to the New York Knicks.

Grant Hill led a very respectable NBA career, though many believe his retirement came much later than it should have. The long-time great finished with the Los Angeles Clippers, but he began his career with the Detroit Pistons before stints with the Orlando Magic and the Suns.

He eventually announced that he would be leaving the game for good after the Clippers were eliminated from the NBA playoffs this year. After 19 seasons in the league, he’s widely considered a role model to young players and future stars.

Have you ever seen an athlete make sacrifices for his or her marriage like Grant Hill supports Tamia?
