Kim Kardashian Nude Pregnancy Sculpture Revealed

Kim Kardashian is a modern fertility god… apparently. Celebrity sculptor Daniel Edwards recently unveiled a nude statue of Kim Kardashian at the “L.A. Fertility” exhibition at the LAB Art Gallery in Los Angeles.

Edwards said that Kardashian is frequently criticized (or complimented) for her clothing and jewelry. The artist wanted to strip the reality star of that materialism and present her as a pregnant woman.

Edwards said: “People tend to look at the parts, like the creases in her armpits, or how she wore a dress that makes her look like a killer whale … I’m stripping it of the details people get stuck on, so they can see the beauty.”

The sculptor said that he wanted to create the statue to counter the criticism that Kardashian received after putting on weight during pregnancy.

Edwards said: “I was inspired by the beauty of Kim Kardashian and felt quite put-off by the media’s criticism of her weight gain during pregnancy. Such criticism should be off limits.”

Kardashian shouldn’t be criticized for gaining weight during her pregnancy but presenting her as a fertility god is a bit of a stretch. Still, Edwards feels that Kim and Kanye are the king and queen of some form of celebrity royalty. He even did a sculpture showing their unborn baby sitting next to Kate Middleton’s unborn baby.

The Huffington Post reports that he used sonograms to create the sculpture.
