Brian Hallisay: Jennifer Love Hewitt’s On-Screen Husband Became Real Life Love

Brian Hallisay plays the husband to Jennifer Love Hewitt in The Client List, and soon he’ll get to try out the role in real life.

The 34-year-old actor recently announced that he and Hewitt are expecting their first child together, and are engaged to be married.

Jennifer Love Hewitt confirmed the news in an exclusive interview for US Weekly.

“We’re so thrilled and happy to start a family,” she said.

The couple has been engaged for a short time now, as Brian proposed to Hewitt in May when the couple were vacationing in Europe.

The relationship comes after years of problems in the romance department for Jennifer Love Hewitt. She had a number of failed relationships, including an engagement to Ross McCall.

But she has already remained set on the idea of finding love and settling down.

“I think that I could be a really good wife,” she said in 2010. “I know that I love being able to give my love out to someone. I know there is somebody great out there for me.”

Her new beau, Brian Hallisay, appears to be multi-talented aside from his acting abilities. He is an Ivy League man, graduating from Cornell University with a degree in economics and history. He also worked on Wall Street before moving on to acting.

Before The Client List, Hallisay appeared in the short-lived CW series Privileged. He also had a small and forgettable role in the 2006 movie Bottoms Up, which featured Paris Hilton as a Midwestern bartender who finds love in Los Angeles.

Hallisay seems to have a knack for playing a doctor, with roles in Strong Medicine, Body of Proof and The Bionic Woman, so he might know some medical jargon.

Both Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay will continue working on the popular Lifetime series. It hasn’t been announced yet if The Client List will work her real-life pregnancy into the plot.
