Bouncer Accused Of Killing Three After Practical Joke

A bouncer is accused of killing three co-workers after a practical joke.

Thirty-one-year-old Andrew Joseph Lobban, a bouncer at Ocala Entertainment Complex in Florida, was at a shooting range with some of his friends. While hanging out at a bar, three co-workers decided to punk the bouncer with a practical joke by rigging his gun so it would misfire and filming it on their phones.

The four bouncers once again began discussing the practical joke at the bar after the incident. According to Sgt. Angy Scroble, the shooting occurred close to 1 am outside a local bar called AJ’s when the bouncer accused of killing three became enraged when one of his friends kept harping on him about the practical joke.

After the three men were shot, Lobban was allegedly seen heading north and was eventually arrested later that morning at his girlfriend’s house in Silver Spring Shores.

The victims were identified as Benjamin Larz Howard, 23, of Belleview; Jerry Bynes Jr, 20; Josue Santiago, 25, two from Ocala.

All three victims were shot in the head by their fellow bouncer. Two were reported dead on the scene while one was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Josue santiago, who dreamed of owning his own club one day, leaves behind two young children: a son and a 2-month-old daughter.

“He was a gentle giant, a great son, a provider and a good father to his family,” said Josue Santiago’s mother Maria Santiago.

Jerry Bynes was also the father to a 2-and-half-month-old daughter.

“He was a good kid, liked to laugh and joke. He wanted everyone to be happy,” said Jerry Bynes mother Dawn Acosta Romaine.

Andrew Lobban is currently being held in Marion County Jail without bond for the bouncer murders.
