IRS Scandal Targeting Was ‘Directly Ordered From Washington’ Claims Issa

The IRS scandal targeting of conservative groups was “directly ordered from Washington” according to Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA), who is in charge of the House investigation into the IRS scandal.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the IRS scandal has caused the Obama approval rating to drop quickly these past few weeks. Critics claim there is evidence linking Barack Obama to the IRS scandal, but Darrel Issa does not go that far.

Issa is not so reserved when it comes to White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, saying:

“The administration is still – their paid liar, their spokesperson, picture behind – he’s (Carney) still making up things about what happens and calling this local rogue. The reason that Lois Lerner tried to take the Fifth [Amendment when called to testify before Congress] is not because there’s a rogue in Cincinnati. It’s because this is a problem that was coordinated in all likelihood right out of Washington headquarters And we’re getting to proving it. The administration is still trying to say there’s a few rogue agents in Cincinnati, when in fact the indication is they were directly being ordered from Washington.”

Issa does not point the finger directly at President Obama but he does question how the IRS caused “not friends of the president to be disenfranchised through an election,” which directly benefited Obama personally.

Issa says anyone in Washington or the IRS caught in the IRS scandal cannot claim they were “ordered to do it” because they should have become whistleblowers, adding that these same people “would have done something, I’m sure, if these had been progressive groups or groups that supported the president.”

Who do you think is ultimately behind the IRS scandal?
