Kelly Osbourne Says Lady Gaga Is A ‘Big Hypocrite’
Kelly Osbourne says Lady Gaga is a “great big hypocrite.” In an interview for the July edition of Cosmopolitan, for which Kelly also graces the cover, the Fashion Police star reveals:
“I loved Lady Gaga. I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realized she’s a great big hypocrite.”
Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga have been actively engaged in a feud since early 2012 when Gaga appeared on Fashion Police, and, according to Kelly, she was disrespectful to fans and journalists because she had skipped the red carpet at the Grammy’s.
Not taking kindly to claims that she hated her fans and journalists, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to attack Osbourne.
The Kelly Osbourne feud with Lady Gaga heated up in late 2012 when Kelly appeared on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man in the UK and claimed that Gaga was pregnant because of a fashion choice she made and because she stopped dying her hair.
Responding once again, Lady Gaga said Kelly should “defend others who are bullied by their image” and not “breed negativity.”
Kelly Osbourne doesn’t just call Gaga a big hypocrite; she also responds directly to Lady Gaga’s open letter:
“Don’t say, ‘When you see bullying, intervene,’ while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it. You can say whatever you want with your millions of monsters. I know the truth. [Your] bells and whistles mean nothing to me. You’re feeding on the freaks and geeks to further your career? … Do you really care about the gay community? Because if you did, you’d stand up for it more than you do.”
Turning her attention away from Lady Gaga, Kelly speaks about her father, Ozzy Osbourne, and his recent drug relapse:
“I love and respect that he’s honest enough to say, ‘Yes, I did this. It was my fault.’ He’s a real man. Most people would hide, and he doesn’t. It doesn’t make me love him any less. It took a long time to get to that place, but I understand it now. And my mother does too.”
