Kelly Osbourne Still Not Over Lady Gaga Backlash

Kelly Osbourne has had her fair share of celebrity duels over the years, but there’s one feud that the Fashion Police star can’t shake off. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Osbourne admitted that she still has something to say about her feud with Lady Gaga.

When asked about Lady Gaga’s response to Osbourne’s poor comments over the singer’s appearance on the Fashion Police and the backlash that resulted on Twitter, the reality star still had a lot to say about the squabble. Osbourne elaborated on the reaction she received from Gaga’s Little Monsters fan base, saying:

“I loved Lady Gaga. I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realized she’s a great big hypocrite. Don’t say, ‘When you see bullying, intervene,’ while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it. ”

The comment that started it all came from Osbourne through her show The Fashion Police. On Gaga’s appearance at the 2012 Grammys, Osbourne said: “Her face has been pulled back by a net. When you go to an award show and you don’t walk a red carpet I find that to be disrespectful.” While Joan Rivers in her signature style took Lady Gaga up to task the most, it was Osbourne that angered Gaga.

Later on Lady Gaga shot back in a scathing open letter to Osbourne: “It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding. Why not help others?”

Of course, one open letter deserves another open letter, and soon the feud between Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga became a family affair, with the Fashion Police star’s mother, Sharon Osbourne, becoming involved after Kelly received backlash and death threats by Gaga’s fans. In her own lengthy letter Sharon wrote, “Your open letter is hypocritical and full of contradictions.”

After all was said and done, Osbourne had health issues to deal with and took a step back from the feud, but, if going by her interview with Cosmopolitan, it’s obvious that it’s still on her mind. Osbourne continued, saying: “You can say whatever you want with your millions of monsters. I know the truth. You bells and whistles mean nothing to me. You’re feeding on the freaks and geeks to further your career? Do you really care about the gay community? Because if you did, you’d stand up for it more than you do.”
