‘Party Of Satan’ Should Be Hezbollah’s Name, Says Turkish Official

Party of Satan is sarcastically being suggested as a name change for Hezbollah, which literally calls itself the Party of God when translated from Arabic.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, now called the Party of Satan, Hezbollah is facing widespread criticism in the Muslim world for for supporting the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad against the Syrian rebels.

Since 2011 the Syrian civil war has seen over 70,000 civilians killed as estimated by the United Nations. The fighting in Syria recently saw a TV correspondent killed and Syrian government troops launched an attack on rebel cities. The so-called Party of Satan has even supported the firing of rockets into Beirut suburbs.

But the Syrian rebels have been up to their own devilish deeds to revile the Party of Satan. One Syrian rebel even cut out the heart of a man and ate it. Earlier, a Muslim cleric okay’ed raping women based upon the Koran.

Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag explained why he thought Hezbollah should be renamed the Party of Satan because of their support of the Assad regime:

“Those who stand by the Assad regime and kill their own Muslim brothers and indiscriminately kill women and children in the battlefield should not appeal to Islam and the Quran to legitimize their actions. The pharaoh gave orders for the killing of innocent children and their mothers to maintain power. What is the difference between what the Pharaoh did and Assad is doing?”

Do you think Party of Satan is an appropriate name for Hezbollah?
