‘Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’ Reunion Takes Places In London

Three cast members from the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air reunited in London last night, causing 90’s TV fans to ache in nostalgia for the classic show.

Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro and Jazzy Jeff each cam together to go and watch Will’s eldest son, Trey, DJ at the swanky London club, Boujis.

Ribeiro, who looks like he has piled on the pounds since he finished played Carlton in 1990, attended the show with his second wife, the writer Angela Unkrich.

The show stopped filming in 1996 but still has a cult audience, and Smith is often asked to sing the rap that accompanies the opening credits when in interviews. Something that he more often than not obliges with.

Jazzy Jeff, whose real name is Jeff Townes, attended the concert in much more laid back attire, wearing a tracksuit jacket and trainers, whilst Ribeiro, Unkrich, and Smith each looked rather dapper in their suits.

The trio look like they have remained close friends since the shows conclusion, and they are often spotted out wining and dining in Los Angeles and across the world.

However, not every cast member is so happy with their former colleagues. Janet Hubert, who played the original Aunt Vivian in the first three seasons of the show only to be replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid for the final three, criticised Will Smith in 2011 after he shared a photo of the cast, minus the actress.

She then quashed any rumours of a reunion stating, “There will never be a reunion …. as I will never do anything with an a******e like Will Smith.”

Hubert then added, “He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”

However she has recently eased her stance, telling Will, “We need to heal this.”
