J. Lo Makes Bank From (Failed) Pilot Project

Jennifer Lopez is making money for nothing! There are a lot of celebs who manage that (see Audrina Patridge), but J. Lo has serious skills.

It turns out that her reality show, which was supposed to hit TLC sometime in 2008, was canned after things went awry in development. Boo-hoo for TLC execs, but Jennifer is skipping to the bank because she gets to hang onto the cash. What’s more, she’s still peddling her pilot projects: ABC has now paid J. Lo after said TLC failure, and NBC is signing up for sloppy thirds.

Are people going to watch this, if it ever materializes? I suppose if Denise Richards can keep It’s Complicated on the air, anything’s possible.
