Jack Bauer is back for season 7 of 24

Keifer Sutherland returns as Jack Bauer for the 7th season of 24. The 7th series was originally delayed by the writers strike, but after a long delay, the series returns with two-hour “prequel” TV movie titled 24: Redemption‎ on November 23, 2008 that bridges the gap between seasons with the new series to start Sunday, January 11, 2009.

Key changes/ points in the new series:

- CTU is gone.
- There’s a female president.
- Jack Bauer is called before a Senate committee to answer for his actions in preventing terror attacks, including torture.
- Tony Almeida is back, but definitely not how you expect.
