Bon Jovi Slams Bieber, Richie Sambora Calls For End To Trash Talk

John Bon Jovi slammed Justin Bieber earlier this week over concert delays in March, and people are still buzzing. Bon Jovi called Bieber out for being disrespectful to the fans, but the slam was pretty darn disrespectful right back at Bieber.

The 51-year-old “Livin’ on a Prayer” rocker was widely reported as calling Justin Bieber an a**hole after the 19-year-old pop singer arrived two hours late for a London concert in March:

“Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool — you’re an a**hole. Go to f***in’ work!”

Bieber fired back by claiming that he was only 40 minutes late to the performance. But Justin Bieber did say: “I apologize [to] anyone we upset.”

Some of Bon Jovi’s frustrations could really be aimed at guitarist Richie Sambora, who has pulled out of their tour. Sambora is rumored to be experiencing a relapse of his drinking problem.

Bon Jovi tried to keep his mouth shut about Sambora’s issues but he couldn’t repress a few comments: “[A]ll I can say is this — it’s for personal reasons…Life goes on, so if someone chooses not to be here…”

My guess is that Bon Jovi slammed Bieber not because he cares much about the much younger singer but out of frustration with the Sambora situation.

But now Richie Sambora is reportedly angry too. According to Radar Online, Sambora said that he isn’t using again, and he doesn’t appreciate Bon Jovi’s hints that he might be: “Enough with the trash talking!”

Fine, but isn’t that just another way of saying that you’re O-L-D old? At the end of the day, I suspect that some fans care more about the John Bon Jovi slam than Bieber does.
